How we evaluate a Signal

DNA Insider's confidence score is an editorial signal about the current verifiability of a specific piece of intelligence. It is not a permanent rating of any author, media outlet, leaker, channel, or platform. Scores may change as official sources, original evidence, independent corroboration, and later updates become available.

Editorial disclaimer

DNA Insider tracks signals, rumors, source reports, evidence, and official confirmations. Unconfirmed information may change, be corrected, or be debunked at any time. Confidence scores reflect the current evidence state, source authority, independent corroboration, and confirmation status. Official confirmations and filing or regulatory evidence are weighted differently from community rumors.

What the score means

The confidence score reflects the current evidence state of a Signal, including source type, original evidence, independent corroboration, specificity, and whether official confirmation is available.

What the score does not mean

The score is not a media ranking, author ranking, source leaderboard, or permanent credibility rating of a person or organization.

Source roles

Public pages may show source roles such as Official, Media, Journalist, Analyst, Insider, or Social. These are neutral labels to help readers understand the type of source; they are not public rankings.

Why scores change

A Signal's confidence may rise, fall, or be relabeled when new official pages, videos, filings, store listings, rating databases, independent reports, or contradictory evidence appear.

Human review

AI and automated systems help organize candidate intelligence and evidence, but publishing, Story attachment, major corrections, and final editorial judgment require human review.

Corrections

If you believe a Signal's source, evidence, translation, classification, or status is incorrect, you can submit a correction.
