Signal Summary
According to 9to5Mac, Apple is reshaping a long-standing iPhone and iPad gesture in iOS 27 beta builds. The change appears tied to making Siri AI easier to access from the top edge of the display.
Why It Matters
If this ships in the final release, it could force a noticeable habit change for longtime iPhone and iPad users. It also suggests Apple is giving Siri AI more prominent placement in the interface.
