Apple released the sixth public betas of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, tvOS 27, and macOS Golden Gate for compatible devices to download and test.
The releases arrived one week after the fifth public betas and a few hours after the eighth developer betas. The source describes testing as nearing its end and expects release candidates next week after Apple’s September 9 iPhone event, but gives no exact date.
The sixth public beta places Apple’s next operating-system updates in the late stage of testing. If the reported timing holds, the next major milestone is expected to be release candidates after the iPhone event, rather than a confirmed final-release date.
