AWS details sample for cross-account Amazon Quick resource migration
AWS describes a sample MCP server on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore for migrating Amazon Quick chat agents, action connectors, knowledge bases, flows, and spaces. It supports selection by ID, name, or all resources, and is described as safe to rerun; it also backs up existing target resources to Amazon S3 before updates and offers a read-only preview.

Full Report
The Quick Resource Migrator is AWS’s sample for promoting Amazon Quick resources across accounts. It covers chat agents, action connectors, knowledge bases, flows, and spaces, and runs as an MCP server on the Amazon Bedrock AgentCore runtime.
Users can select resources by ID, by name, or all at once. Before updating an existing target resource, the tool writes a versioned backup to Amazon S3. A read-only preview shows which resources would be created or updated before the migration is committed.
Why This Matters
The backup and preview steps give teams a chance to review proposed cross-account changes and retain a recovery point.

1Making Amazon Quick enterprise-ready: Automated, auditable cross-account resource promotion
Keshav Ganesh
“Promoting Amazon Quick resources (agents, action connectors, knowledge bases, flows, and spaces) from a development to a production AWS account has been a manual, error-prone chore. This post shows how to automate cross-account promotion with an idempotent, auditable MCP server on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.”
