Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves Rumored to Feature Three Story Routes and a Larger Role for the Elite Four

A new rumor claims that Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves will feature three story routes, similar to Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. The Elite Four and Champion will reportedly appear throughout the main story instead of being reserved primarily for the final stage of the adventure. Two of the routes are currently referred to as the “Legend Tour” and “Mahou Tour.” The former allegedly involves defeating bosses to strengthen a seed Pokémon referred to as Konetsu, while the latter is said to focus on raids built around a new battle mechanic referred to as Netsu. Cooperative versions of these boss battles and additional multiplayer features may also become available after the main story. The Pokémon Company has only confirmed that both games will launch worldwide for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
