Anthropic introduced Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion on October 8, 2026. Dashboards connects to a user's data platform or CRM and builds dashboards that update as the underlying data changes. The beta is available on all paid plans.
Motion turns a report or chart into a short animated explainer and is in beta on Team and Enterprise plans. Anthropic says Claude writes each animation as code rather than using a video model. Users can change its words, numbers and timing, then export an MP4 or open the result in a video editor.
The announcement also moves Claude Docs, Claude Slides and Claude Design out of beta, making them available on every plan, including Free, starting October 8. Anthropic announced a beta for creating and revising charts, diagrams and other visualizations inside Claude conversations in March. The new Dashboards and Motion offerings focus respectively on connected, updating dashboards and editable, exportable animated explainers.
