Donkey Kong Bananza’s 12 Limited-Time Events Return in a Monthly Rotation

Nintendo announced on October 1, 2026, that the 12 limited-time in-game events from the paid 「DKアイランド＆エメラルドラッシュ」 add-on for its Nintendo Switch 2 game 「ドンキーコングバナンザ」 will return in a monthly rotation. Each event will be playable for one month, with the next one switching in at 00:00 on the first day of the month.

October’s event, 「チップフィーバー」, takes place on DK Island. Nintendo says the challenge opens at 21:00 on October 1, with character figures including Enguarde and Kong Bananza available as score rewards.

The events lock in the Banamond skills, Emerald Powers obtained from Banamonds and fossils, and Void Mission order for each challenge. Scores determine which event-exclusive character figures players can earn. Nintendo says the returning events offer another chance for players who missed them before or fell short of the score required for a figure.
