Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Gets a Launch Trailer; Switch 2 Edition Bundles the Main Game and New Content
CapcomChannel published a launch trailer for Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen on October 9. The game is now on sale: its Nintendo Switch 2 version bundles the main game with the new content, while the added content is also available as expansion DLC on the other listed platforms.
Full Report
CapcomChannel has released a launch trailer for Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen. The official description says the title adds a new story and experiences to Dragon's Dogma 2, and states that it is now on sale.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version is the first release of Dark Arisen for that platform and combines the main game with the new content. On PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, the new content is available as expansion DLC. Capcom lists Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam as supported platforms.
The launch trailer follows earlier CapcomChannel promotional shorts. The series' 15th adventure short featured エイル and credited 坂本真綾 as the character's voice actor. The new announcement clarifies how players can access the added content on each platform.
Why This Matters
The release offers different ways to access the added content: a Switch 2 edition that includes the main game, or expansion DLC for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. That distinction helps players understand what is included on their platform.
