FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE Spotlights the Warrior of Light; First-Chapter Demo Available
Square Enix Asia has published a character video for FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE featuring the Warrior of Light. The game is scheduled for October 22, 2026, and its first-chapter demo is available to download with save data transferable to the full game.
Full Report
Square Enix Asia’s latest FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE character video focuses on the Warrior of Light from FINAL FANTASY. The video describes him as chosen by the crystals to set out on a journey to save the world. In combat, he can use attacks with earth, lightning and light attributes, and can learn abilities to protect allies.
FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE is scheduled to launch on October 22, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Steam. The first-chapter demo is available to download, and its save data can carry over to the full game. The announcement lists October 23 as the planned Steam release date.
Why This Matters
The character profile outlines both the Warrior of Light’s elemental attacks and his ally-protection abilities, giving players a clearer picture of his role. Save-data carryover also means progress made in the first-chapter demo can continue in the full game.
