Flareon Joins Pokémon UNITE on October 13 as a Close-Range All-Rounder
An official Pokémon UNITE video introduces Flareon, which joins the game on October 13 as an All-Rounder focused on close combat. Using moves raises its body temperature, sending out heat that continuously damages nearby opponents.
Full Report
Pokémon UNITE published a Flareon Character Spotlight on October 6, 2026, confirming that Flareon joins the game on October 13. The video classifies Flareon as an All-Rounder and describes a close-range fighting style.
The spotlight also outlines a damage mechanic: using moves raises Flareon’s body temperature, and the heat it radiates continuously damages nearby opponents. Together, the role and mechanic establish the basic shape of its combat approach ahead of its arrival.
The official Pokémon UNITE Asia website also lists Jolteon as joining Unite Battles at 4:00 p.m. JST on October 13, when the Eevee Festival begins. That places Flareon’s debut alongside a broader in-game event and another Eevee evolution joining the roster.
Why This Matters
The spotlight gives players a concrete preview of Flareon’s arrival date, role, and damage mechanic. The official Asia schedule places that debut on the same day as the Eevee Festival and Jolteon’s arrival.
