Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s first beta weekend skips Nintendo Switch 2
gamespot.com reported that Activision’s teaser for the first Modern Warfare 4 beta highlights campaign content and a new modular multiplayer map. The outlet says the game is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, but that platform will not get the opening beta period.

Signal Summary
According to gamespot.com, the first beta weekend for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is limited to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC preorder players. The report also notes that Switch 2 is in the game’s launch lineup, while the beta access timing on Nintendo’s console is different.
Why It Matters
For Call of Duty fans, the report suggests Nintendo Switch 2 players are part of the game’s broader release plan even if they miss the first test window. It also points to Activision treating the Switch 2 release as a meaningful return to Nintendo platforms.
