Hello Kitty Island Adventure Game Trial lets Switch Online members play free through October 15
Nintendo Switch Online members can try the full Hello Kitty Island Adventure on Nintendo Switch at no additional cost from October 9 to 15, and earn 100 Platinum Points through a trial mission. The digital game is also 45% off through October 18.
Full Report
Nintendo announced a Game Trial for Hello Kitty Island Adventure on October 8. Nintendo Switch Online members can download and play the full Nintendo Switch game at no additional cost from October 9 at 10 a.m. through October 15 at 11:59 p.m. PT. The adventure follows Hello Kitty and Friends as they restore an abandoned island and investigate a mystery.
Members can also complete a mission by trying the Game Trial to earn 100 Platinum Points. Players who buy the game during or after the offer can keep their save data from the trial.
Separately, the digital Nintendo Switch version is 45% off at Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Store through October 18 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Nintendo's listing shows a current price of $21.99, down from $39.99. The game has also previously received its Tea Garden DLC on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.
Why This Matters
The trial gives Nintendo Switch Online members a time-limited way to play the full game, and retaining save data makes continuing with a purchase more straightforward. The trial and discount end on different dates, so players interested in both offers should note the separate deadlines.
