Square Enix has released a special video for the KINGDOM HEARTS series’ 25th anniversary and outlined the contents of キングダム ハーツ コレクション [I~III], due October 8, 2026. The collection combines three packages containing 11 listed game entries and is planned for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and XBOX ON PC.
Full Report
Square Enix marked the KINGDOM HEARTS series’ 25th anniversary with a special video centered on Sora’s adventures alongside Donald and Goofy through Disney and Pixar worlds. The company also highlighted キングダム ハーツ コレクション [I~III], scheduled to launch on October 8, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and XBOX ON PC.
The collection combines KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC). Square Enix’s collection page lists 11 game entries across the three packages: six in the first, three in the second, and two in the third.
A Nintendo Switch 2 demo of KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind is also available, featuring オリンポス and トイボックス. Save data from オリンポス can carry over to the full game. Separately, a 25th-anniversary campaign will award the 25周年メモリアルフォトカード to 125 winners; entries run through October 31, 2026.
Why This Matters
The collection gives newcomers a single package spanning multiple entries in the series, while Nintendo Switch 2 players can try part of one included game before the collection launches. The confirmed release date is October 8, 2026.
