French outlet @imathtechs (X) indicates iPhone 18e might lack ProMotion technology
@imathtechs (X) suggests that despite receiving a chip upgrade and Dynamic Island, the future iPhone 18e may still be limited to a 60Hz display.
DNA Brief
Signal Summary
A report from @imathtechs (X) indicates that Apple may keep its high-refresh ProMotion displays exclusive to higher-end models, leaving the iPhone 18e with an older refresh rate.
Why It Matters
If this tip is accurate, it shows Apple may continue its controversial strategy of withholding 120Hz screens from its more affordable smartphone tiers until at least 2026.
