Kingdom Hearts 4’s next trailer will follow an unspecified gap as development enters its final stages
Kingdom Hearts 4 is scheduled for release in late 2027 and its development team is in the final stages. The next trailer and further information will arrive after an unspecified gap and be released gradually.
DNA Brief
Signal Summary
Game directors Tetsuya Nomura and Tai Yasue are considering when to release the next information. Japanese voice recording is complete, while English recording is approximately 60–70% complete. Something is also planned for the Kingdom Hearts series’ 25th anniversary in 2027, and an anniversary exhibition is confirmed to open in Roppongi on February 5, 2027.
Why It Matters
The late-2027 target remains in place, but there is no stated date for the next trailer, so the next major update cannot yet be tied to a specific milestone. The completed Japanese recording and near-complete English recording add concrete production progress without confirming an earlier release or new game details.
Evidence
Start with the primary evidence, then review supporting sources and context.
Primary Evidence
1Fans asking for more Kingdom Hearts 4 information will have to wait after ‘a bit of a gap’
