KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III] video confirms Switch 2 demo; Traditional Chinese subtitles planned for early summer 2027
Square Enix Asia says the KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III] and its three downloadable game packages are on sale for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and XBOX on PC. A Nintendo Switch 2 demo for KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind is available now, with Traditional Chinese subtitles planned for early summer 2027.
Full Report
Square Enix Asia has released a promotional video for KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III], listing the collection and its three downloadable game packages as currently on sale for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and XBOX on PC. Earlier official coverage described the collection as three packages comprising 11 game entries and announced an October 8, 2026 release.
The video also confirms that a Nintendo Switch 2 demo for KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind is available now. It covers the opening portion of Olympus and content from the start through the middle of Toy Box. Save data from the Olympus portion can be carried over to the full game.
For Traditional Chinese readers, the video gives a planned subtitle window: support is expected in early summer 2027. Square Enix’s series overview says the franchise had exceeded 39 million units shipped and sold worldwide as of the end of March 2026. It counts 13 releases since the first game launched in March 2002, or 20 when Final Mix versions are included.
Why This Matters
The update consolidates practical release information: where the collection is on sale, what the Switch 2 demo covers and whether progress carries over, and when Traditional Chinese subtitle support is currently planned. These details help players distinguish what they can access now from the language update expected later.
