Apple Brings 3D MLB Games to Vision Pro
MacRumors reported that Apple and MLB are adding a new Vision Pro viewing option for Friday Night Baseball. The first Apple Immersive stream is set to follow Red Sox-Yankees, with more September games also included.
DNA Brief
Signal Summary
The outlet says Vision Pro owners with an Apple TV subscription will be able to watch select Friday Night Baseball games in an immersive 3D format. Apple also plans replays, highlights, and on-screen stats inside the Apple TV app.
Why It Matters
If this rollout works well, it gives Vision Pro users a more distinctive live-sports feature than a standard broadcast. It also shows Apple leaning further into premium immersive video as a reason to subscribe and watch through its headset.
