MacRumors reports camera-equipped AirPods appear in macOS Tahoe 26.7 video
MacRumors reported that a video found in the macOS Tahoe 26.7 release candidate appears to demonstrate AirPods with cameras using Visual Intelligence. The outlet says the feature could let Siri interpret surroundings and save information for the wearer.
DNA Brief
Signal Summary
The reported video depicts a camera-equipped AirPods concept recognizing a book title and connecting that input to Visual Intelligence. MacRumors also noted references to setup guidance and the B790 codename within the software.
Why It Matters
If the report is accurate, the AirPods line could expand beyond audio into hands-free visual assistance. The camera and environment-awareness features would also raise practical privacy and usability questions for users.
