MacRumors reported references to unreleased Apple products in macOS Tahoe 26.7
MacRumors reported that the macOS Tahoe 26.7 release candidate contains code references to several unannounced Apple products, including home devices, iPhones, iPads, AirPods, and Macs. The report said some entries involve previously seen codenames, while others appear new.
DNA Brief
Signal Summary
The software references reportedly include multiple home accessories, a possible updated HomePod mini, and other products whose identities remain unclear. MacRumors noted that feature flags and product codenames provide clues but do not establish Apple's product plans.
Why It Matters
Code references can offer an early look at products Apple may be developing, particularly its expanding home-device lineup. Fans should treat the findings as indications in software rather than confirmation of future hardware.
