「かおあそび」 — My Mario adds a melody-car block set and two free Nintendo Switch face-play downloads

Nintendo’s October 6, 2026 update covers new products and content for My Mario, its Mario-themed product series for children. The 「のせかえメロディーカー つみきマリオ&キノピオ セット」 is scheduled to go on sale October 20. Moving the car plays a familiar Mario melody; changing the character block changes the song or tone, while the car’s speed affects the music’s tempo.

The Nintendo Switch download software 「かおルイージ」 and 「かおピーチ」 is now available for free through Nintendo Store and Nintendo eShop. Players can touch Luigi’s or Peach’s face to find different expressions. Character blocks can also call up the matching face-play feature in the corresponding software, but an update is required and other amiibo are not supported. Tablet and smartphone versions are planned for later distribution, with timing undecided.

Nintendo also says episodes 8 and 9 of the It’s Me, Mario! stop-motion series were published that day on the My Mario official website. Episode 9 was already covered in a related report; this announcement also identifies episode 8. The update adds to an existing product and content line: Nintendo announced in November 2025 that Yoshi items would join the My Mario lineup.
