New Metaphor: ReFantazio Pre-Order Trailer Shows More Nintendo Switch 2 Footage
A new pre-order trailer shows Metaphor: ReFantazio running on Nintendo Switch 2. The digital version is available to pre-order on Nintendo eShop for $39.99, with launch set for November 12.
DNA Brief
Signal Summary
The game launched on PS5 in 2024 and appeared on the Nintendo Switch 2 show floor at Gamescom last month. The article says performance appears to be holding up well enough, although some static 3D assets may look noticeably smeary; its final performance remains unconfirmed until launch.
Why It Matters
The November 12 release date and digital pre-order details establish a clearer Nintendo Switch 2 timeline for a game that already launched on PS5. The trailer also gives prospective buyers more footage of the version ahead of release, while leaving final performance to be assessed at launch.
