Claims from Nintendúo point toward a possible launch of the RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on Nintendo's unannounced successor console during 2026.
The outlet reports that a well-known industry insider has reiterated expectations for a Nintendo Switch 2 version of the fantasy title, despite its disappearance from recent presentations.
If accurate, this suggests Nintendo's next hardware will have sufficient technical capabilities to handle high-profile Unreal Engine projects that missed the current Switch hardware.
The report relies on statements from an external insider rather than official developer confirmation, necessitating a cautious tone.
More independent corroboration is still needed
Start with the primary evidence, then review supporting sources and context.
