Nintendo Sets October 2 Japan Launch for Around 70 Zelda Products at Animate
Around 70 original The Legend of Zelda products are set to go on sale at Animate stores across Japan, alongside a promotional fair running through January 11, 2027.

Full Report
Nintendo announced on September 25, 2026, that around 70 original The Legend of Zelda products will go on sale at Animate stores nationwide in Japan starting October 2. Featured items include acrylic stands based on characters from Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, nail stickers, a seven-design poster collection using art from across the series, and Korok-themed home goods.
The accompanying The Legend of Zelda | Animate Fair runs from October 2 through January 11, 2027. Customers spending 5,500 yen on eligible Zelda-related products receive one of two six-bookmark sets, while supplies last. A separate GPS check-in offer gives a Navi sticker to customers who buy eligible products at Animate and check in through the Nintendo Store app. That offer is limited to Nintendo Account users whose country/region is Japan, with one check-in per account per day; gifts are available while supplies last.
Why This Matters
The announcement pairs a broad merchandise launch with in-store purchase rewards and a location-based giveaway. Both the retail promotion and the GPS offer are tied to Japan, and the check-in gift has specific account-region and daily limits that affect who can participate.
