「Nintendo Switch 2(日本語・国内専用) 選べるソフトセット」 — Nintendo Announces Japan-Only Nintendo Switch 2 Game Bundle

Full Report

Nintendo has announced a Nintendo Switch 2 bundle for the Japanese-language, Japan-only console. Buyers can use the included download code to choose one game from Mario Kart World, Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, and トモダチコレクション わくわく生活, then redeem it through Nintendo eShop. The code is valid through March 31, 2027, and redemption requires a Nintendo Account and an internet connection.

Nintendo’s product page lists November 12, 2026, as the release date and ¥63,980, including tax, as the suggested retail price. The console is the Japan-only specification: the page says its supported language is Japanese and that it can be linked only to Nintendo Accounts set to Japan.

Reservations are open at Nintendo Store. Nintendo says reservations at game retailers and online shops nationwide are planned to begin when preparations are ready. Reservations through Nintendo Store using Paidy from October 7 through October 20 qualify for the store’s cashback campaign, according to the announcement.

Why This Matters

The bundle pairs the console with a buyer-selected digital game, but the Japanese-language, Japan-only hardware and account-region requirement make its intended market a key purchasing consideration. Buyers also need to redeem the game code before it expires.
