Nintendo Today! Version 4.1.0 Adds Daily Random Themes and Gamescom Pikmin Feature
Nintendo Today! was updated to version 4.1.0 on August 20, 2026, adding multi-theme selection with one theme shown at random each day and an in-person feature for finding hidden Pikmin at Gamescom.
DNA Brief
Signal Summary
The update also includes unspecified fixes intended to make the app easier to use. Its Gamescom feature is tied to the event, which begins with Opening Night Live on August 25 and runs through August 30, 2026.
Why It Matters
Version 4.1.0 changes how Nintendo Today! can present content during everyday use while adding a location-based activity for Gamescom attendees. Users will be able to use the app for a hidden-Pikmin hunt during the August 25–30 event, although the source does not identify the specific issues fixed or the available themes.
