Pokémon Centers in Japan Set October Halloween Events

Pokémon Japan announced on September 25 that Pokémon Centers across Japan will hold Halloween events from October 3 through 31, 2026. The program combines in-store giveaways with Pikachu greetings at selected locations; event details may vary by store.

During the promotion, customers who buy two plush toys receive a Halloween shopping bag and sticker sheet as a set, while supplies last. The bag features Pikachu in a jack-o’-lantern-inspired design. This giveaway is not available at Pokémon Stores, temporary Pokémon Center locations, Pokémon Cafés, Pokémon Center Yokohama Satellite, or Pokémon Center Online.

Visitors can also ask store staff for a Happy Halloween! card by saying “Trick or Treat!” The limit is one card per person per day, while supplies last. Halloween-caped Pikachu greetings are scheduled on selected dates at Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo, Skytree Town, Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, Kagawa, and Okinawa. Each location’s event calendar has the specific date, time, and place; the official notice says events may change, be postponed, or be canceled.
