Pokémon Masters EX Adds Ghetsis Episode Event and New Sync Pair on September 30

The 「災いの宝 ゲーチス編」 episode event and the 「マジコスゲーチス＆パオジアン」 Sync Pair Scout both begin September 30 at 15:00. The pair can apply Physical Move Break to all opponents and lower their Defense when it B-Terastallizes.

Full Report

Pokémon Masters EX will begin the episode event 「災いの宝 ゲーチス編」 on September 30 at 15:00. Its story centers on Team Plasma’s Ghetsis seeking to use the formidable power of Paldea’s four treasures to take control of Pasio.

The 「マジコスゲーチス＆パオジアン」 Sync Pair Scout runs from September 30 at 15:00 through October 18 at 14:59. The pair is an Attacker whose first Sync Move can put all opponents into Physical Move Break status, and its EX Role is Tech. Its passive skill also lowers all opponents’ Defense by four stat ranks when it B-Terastallizes and increases the damage they take from physical attacks.

Why This Matters

The announced mechanics pair an all-opponent Defense reduction with increased damage from physical attacks, giving physical-focused teams a clear way to make use of the new Sync Pair’s stated effects. The episode event also brings a Pasio storyline built around Ghetsis and Paldea’s four treasures.
