Full Report

Pokémon Masters EX’s Story Event: Treasures of Ruin—Ghetsis began September 29, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. PT and is scheduled to run through October 31 at 10:59 p.m. The event’s four story parts are rolling out weekly: Chien-Pao begins September 29, followed by Chi-Yu on October 6, Wo-Chien on October 13, and Ting-Lu on October 20.

Players who complete the special battles across all four parts can access the epilogue starting October 20. The event also features Sygna Suit Ghetsis & Chien-Pao, which the official introduction describes as an Ice-type Strike Sync Pair with Tech as its EX Role.

Ghetsis has appeared in earlier Pokémon Masters EX event content: 2021’s Legendary Event: Father or Foe let players team up with Ghetsis & Kyurem. The new event centers on Chien-Pao first, then unfolds through weekly stories featuring the four Treasures of Ruin.

Why This Matters

The story releases conclude before the event itself ends: the epilogue opens October 20, while the event remains scheduled through October 31, PT. That gives players a clear timeline for following the weekly chapters and completing the event. It also puts Ghetsis back at the center of an event, this time paired with Chien-Pao.
