Pokémon Masters EX Team Message Outlines October Events and System Changes

The Pokémon Masters EX team’s September 27, 2026, message outlines events and new Sync Pairs planned for late September and October. Story Event: Treasures of Ruin—Ghetsis began September 29, with four weekly chapters focused in order on Chien-Pao, Chi-Yu, Wo-Chien, and Ting-Lu. Players who complete the special battles across all four parts can access the epilogue from October 20. A separate official listing schedules the Sygna Suit Ghetsis EX Fair from September 29 at 11:00 p.m. through October 17 at 10:59 p.m. PT.

Sygna Suit Ghetsis & Chien-Pao is an Ice-type Strike Sync Pair with Tech as its EX Role, and can Sync Terastallize into Ice type the first time it enters battle. Sygna Suit Lysandre (Alt.) & Chi-Yu is tied to Treasures of Ruin—Lysandre, which begins October 6; the pair is a Fire-type Field Sync Pair with Sprint as its EX Role and can Sync Terastallize into Fire type on its first entry into battle.

The message also details the September 29 daily-missions update: some missions are selected at random each day, fewer completions are required to earn rewards, and a completion reward can include a Surprise Box containing a random prize. The team says players’ total rewards will not be lower than normal even if they do not obtain a particular prize. For upcoming seasonal events, the team plans to split rerun Scouts by debut age. The Scout for Sync Pairs from approximately the past three years will require 300 Scout Points; a Scout for pairs that debuted four or more years ago can be used up to three times for 3,000 non-paid Gems each time, after which players can select a featured pair.

The Monthly BP Challenge is available with the update and features Lyra (Special Costume) & Marill as its Sync Pair reward. The Pokémon 30-Year Celebration missions starting September 30 let players team up with Sygna Suit Wally & Gardevoir, while the monthly login bonus offers 1,000 Gems. Korrina also becomes inviteable to the Trainer Lodge on September 30, provided players have first teamed up with Korrina & Lucario through Chapter 6 of the Main Story’s PML Arc. On October 9, a Legendary Gauntlet featuring Tapu Bulu, Latias, and Raikou is scheduled to begin, alongside a one-time Paid Gems Scout that lets players select one Fair-Exclusive Sync Pair.
