Pokémon Masters EX Update Revises Daily Missions and BP Rewards, Removes Battle Villa

Pokémon Masters EX has released a new app update, with the changes taking effect on version 2.73.0 or higher. Starting September 29, 2026 at 11:00 p.m., daily missions will include random missions alongside fixed ones; the random missions may differ by player. Completing a designated number of daily missions earns a Surprise Box with fixed and random items.

The Monthly BP Challenge’s tier rewards have also been revamped. From September 29 at 11:00 p.m., daily missions and Daily Region Rotation will award more Battle Points. From October 4 at 11:00 p.m., first-clear rewards for Champion Stadium (Hard Lv. 1) will include Battle Points, and Master Mode will award more. New events starting September 29 at 11:00 p.m. will no longer grant Battle Points. Lyra (Special Costume) & Marill joins the Monthly BP Challenge; the notice says special Sync Pairs obtained there have a Master Passive Skill that strengthens the whole team.

This month’s Monthly BP Challenge rewards will skip the September 30 refresh and instead refresh on October 31 at 11:00 p.m.; the notice says those refresh times are UTC and may fall at different local times by region. In a separate announcement, the limited-time Mix Scout is scheduled to update on October 31 at 11:00 p.m. PT, adding Master Fair-exclusive Sync Pairs but excluding Ash & Pikachu and EX Master Sync Pairs.

Other changes remove Main Story Hard difficulty and the Battle Villa, move the Egg Area into the Training Area, and add Chewy Lucky Cookies as battle rewards in the Lucky Skill Area. A Battle Villa background is also being added to Photo Creator. The next Trainer Gyms season runs from September 30 at 11:00 p.m. through October 24 at 10:59 p.m.
