9to5Mac reports that the iOS 27 beta adds an Apple Intelligence Report option in the Home app for Apple TV and HomePod devices running their respective betas, pointing to possible new AI support.
The report notes that Apple TV and HomePod received little attention at WWDC and would use the older Siri based on Apple’s announcements. The new reporting toggle may be connected to rumored unreleased Apple TV 4K and HomePod hardware, but the article does not confirm a launch or whether current devices will support Apple Intelligence.
The beta change introduces a new signal that Apple TV and HomePod could gain Apple Intelligence-related capabilities, potentially changing expectations about the need for new hardware. The supported features, compatibility with existing devices, and any product launch remain unconfirmed.
Start with the primary evidence, then review supporting sources and context.
Ryan Christoffel
“iOS 27 is launching very soon , and the beta reveals Apple may have some powerful new AI features coming for Apple TV 4K and HomePod devices.”
