Nintendo announced that a special-design Nintendo Switch 2 carrying case commemorating The Legend of Zelda’s 40th anniversary is scheduled for release on October 29, Thursday.
The commemorative design appears on the outside and inside of the case, as well as on a cleaning cloth.
Nintendo has announced the Nintendo Switch 2 Carrying Case & Screen Protector – The Legend of Zelda – 40th Anniversary Edition, a special accessory designed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda.
The set is scheduled to launch in Japan on October 29, 2026, with a suggested retail price of ¥3,980 including tax.
The product is part of Nintendo’s broader The Legend of Zelda 40th anniversary hardware lineup for Nintendo Switch 2. It includes a specially designed carrying case for Nintendo Switch 2 along with a screen protector.
Nintendo will also release the Nintendo Switch 2 – The Legend of Zelda – 40th Anniversary Edition console and the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller – The Legend of Zelda – 40th Anniversary Edition on the same day.
The anniversary Nintendo Switch 2 features special Triforce-themed details across the console, Nintendo Switch 2 Dock, and Joy-Con 2 controllers, while the carrying case and Pro Controller complete the matching anniversary collection.
