Nintendo held a 45-minute Nintendo Direct featuring 57 games, including new Nintendo Switch 2 releases, ports, updates, and release information spanning 2026 and 2027. Major announcements included Metroid Ravenous, Kirby and the World Beyond, and Onyx: The Dark Grip.
The presentation confirmed that Monster Hunter Wilds is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on December 4, while Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is scheduled for April 8 and received a Nintendo Switch 2 gameplay trailer. A Nintendo Switch 2 version of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is available now. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity – Definitive Edition is set for February 25, 2027, with visual and frame-rate improvements, more enemies on screen, and the full expansion pass.
The presentation gives Nintendo Switch 2 owners clearer timing and feature details for several upcoming releases, while showing that the broader lineup extends into 2027. Persona 6 was mentioned as still coming, but the source does not provide a release window for it.
Start with the primary evidence, then review supporting sources and context.
