Nintendo says Yo-kai Watch 2: Haunted Domain is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, with a new adventure featuring Nate.
LEVEL-5 has officially announced Yo-kai Watch 2: Haunted Domain for Nintendo Switch 2. The game is a remake of Yo-kai Watch 2, featuring completely revamped graphics along with additional story content and new Yo-kai. A release date has not yet been announced.

Nintendo of America introduced the game during Nintendo Direct, inviting players to join Nate on another adventure while teasing the possibility of encountering new Yo-kai.
LEVEL-5 says the project will retain what made Yo-kai Watch 2 special while completely revamping the graphics. The developer is also working on new features, including additional story content and new Yo-kai.
Rather than being a straightforward port, Haunted Domain is being developed as a remake of Yo-kai Watch 2. The Japanese Nintendo Direct presented the game under the title Yo-kai Watch 2: Hadou (妖怪ウォッチ2 覇道), while the international release is currently being promoted as Yo-kai Watch 2: Haunted Domain.
LEVEL-5 has not yet announced a release date, pricing, or further gameplay details.
This is more than a simple rerelease of Yo-kai Watch 2. With revamped visuals, additional story content, and new Yo-kai, LEVEL-5 is rebuilding one of the series’ key entries for Nintendo Switch 2 and bringing the franchise into a new hardware generation.

Nintendo says pre-orders are now available for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity – Definitive Edition. Owners of the Nintendo Switch version can receive a discount on the digital Nintendo Switch 2 game through Nintendo eShop and transfer their existing save data.
Nintendo Switch Sports Resort is scheduled to launch on Switch 2 on October 22, with the latest trailer showing free Wuhu Island exploration, three vehicle types, collectibles, and the offline Island Crown mode.
Nintendo held a 45-minute Nintendo Direct featuring 57 games, including new Nintendo Switch 2 releases, ports, updates, and release information spanning 2026 and 2027. Major announcements included Metroid Ravenous, Kirby and the World Beyond, and Onyx: The Dark Grip.
